Comtech’s Tactical Grade NetPerformer Data Gateway
Designed for Mission Critical applications where reliable communication is vital in low bandwidth, spectrum denied environments, the Tactical Grade NetPerformer concentrates a multitude of interfaces and functions within the same appliance. While operating as an IP router and multiplexer, VHF/Voice gateway, it offers the ability to integrate multiple types of tactical radios, with advanced serial and IP data sources, including Radars. At the same time, it performs comprehensive voice compression, with up to 90% traffic reduction, as well as WAN load balancing over hybrid satellite / terrestrial links.
Some critical abilities of the Tactical NetPerformer are delay compensation between satellite and terrestrial links, as well as delivery of TDM-like services over IP packet networks.
